On December 14, 2023, the China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association held the third "Boiler Science and Technology Award" ceremony in Nanning, Guangxi. Duan Xuqiang, Chairman of Jiangsu Sifang Clean Energy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Sifang Clean Energy), and Zhang Eying, Chief Technology Officer, were invited to attend the award ceremony. At the commendation conference, Sifang Jieneng's application for the "Preheating Decomposition Combustion Ultra Low Nitrogen Initial Emission High Efficiency Coal Powder Boiler" project won the third prize of this year's Boiler Science and Technology Award and was presented with an award certificate.
This achievement belongs to the newly developed coal-fired boiler with independent intellectual property rights by Sifang Jieneng. Technically, coal pre cracking technology is adopted, and structurally, advanced angle tube structure is used. We have overcome the technical challenges of narrow adaptability of coal types and high initial emissions of pollutants commonly found in coal-fired boilers, effectively solving the problems of: 1. low combustion efficiency of boilers; 2. The problem of tail ash accumulation and severe corrosion caused by high initial emissions and excessive ammonia injection during boiler operation; 3. The problem of excessive heat loss in boiler exhaust gas has led to the boiler reaching the first level energy efficiency index. This technology is currently at the international advanced level.
The China Boiler and Boiler Water Treatment Association is an authoritative organization in the Chinese boiler industry. The Science and Technology Award is organized every two years to recognize and encourage technological innovation in boilers and their supporting auxiliary products, continuously promote innovation and improvement in boiler and boiler water treatment technology, and lead and assist in the high-quality development of the industry.
